 The PADRES released ABRAHAM NUNEZ, 
   STEVE COLYER.
 The REDS released CHAD HARVILLE, JULIO 
   MATEO, ARNIE MUNOZ.
 The RED SOX released JEFF CIRILLO, 
   JEFF CONINE, DOUG MIRABELLI, KELLY 
   STINNETT.
 The CUBS traded AUSTIN KEARNS, JEFF 
   SUPPAN to the BRAVES for BRIAN S. 
   GILES, CRAIG MONROE, ROY CORCORAN.
 The CUBS traded JOSE CASTILLO, MARCUS 
   THAMES to the TWINS for XAVIER NADY, 
   GEORGE SHERRILL.
 The PHILLIES traded WIL NIEVES to the 
   TWINS for RUSSELL BRANYAN.

 REMINDER: You must reduce your roster 
 to 50 players or less (combined rated 
 and unrated players) by the trading 
 deadline. Your roster may never exceed 
 60 total players during the trading 
 season. You must release enough 
 players prior to making a trade that 
 would cause your team to exceed the 
 limit. If your roster exceeds these 
 limits then enough unrated players 
 will automatically be released, 
 alphabetically, to reduce your roster 
 to the 50 or 60 player limit.

 There is a new IRBL DIAMONDBACKS 
 manager:

 Bruce is a 25 year baseball gaming 
 veteran. He has been in a league with 
 Don Tobin and also lived in the house 
 next to Don at one time.

 Bruce also has a historic indirect 
 connection to the IRBL. Bruce has been 
 a member since 1984 of the Baseball 
 Replay League (BRA) run by Jack Kohn 
 since the late 70's. Jack Kohn has an 
 historic place in the history of the 
 IRBL. Jack used to publish a

 newsletter called the "APBA Innings" 
 which later became "Scoreboard" (a 
 tabletop gaming magazine). The IRBL 
 was founded on October 30, 1973 when I 
 sent a letter to Scoreboard to place 
 an Ad for managers for the very first 
 league using the just released new 
 Replay Baseball board game.
