 The WHITE SOX released JULIO FRANCO, 
   MASUMI KUWATA.
 The PIRATES traded TONY A. PENA, JOSE 
   VALVERDE, PIRATES' 5TH round pick to 
   the METS for TAYLOR BUCHHOLZ, MANNY 
   DELCARMEN.
 The PIRATES released RYAN JORGENSEN.
 The CUBS traded SCOTT FELDMAN to the 
   CARDINALS for JOSE CASTILLO.
 The CUBS traded CUBS' 1ST round pick, 
   CUBS' 2ND round pick to the BLUE 
   JAYS for JORGE CANTU.
 The RED SOX released CHARLTON 
   JIMERSON, CHRIS BOOTCHECK, TOM 
   GORDON, JASON JOHNSON.
 The DIAMONDBACKS traded SAL FASANO, 
   ALBERT PUJOLS to the PIRATES for 
   JACK CUST, TRAVIS HAFNER, CORKY 
   MILLER, KENDRY MORALES, ALEX RIOS.
 The PIRATES released JORDAN DE JONG, 
   CHRIS DEMARIA, NATE FIELD, JEFF 
   FULCHINO, CHRIS OXSPRING, JULIO 
   SANTANA, MIKE SCHULTZ, STEVE STEMLE, 
   JAMIE VERMILYEA, SHANE YOUMAN.
 The PIRATES traded JUSTIN MAXWELL, 
   CESAR JIMENEZ to the BLUE JAYS for 
   GREG MADDUX.
 The REDS released DONNIE SADLER, 
   WALTER YOUNG, CHRIS SAENZ.
 The ORIOLES traded JARROD 
   SALTALAMACCHIA to the METS for 
   CARLOS GOMEZ.
 The PIRATES traded ANDERSON HERNANDEZ 
   to the RANGERS for JOEY DEVINE.

 can continue to handle the extra team 
 in the same manner in 2009.

 All managers have submitted their 2009 
 IRBL dues except the following:

 Volunteer needed:

 A volunteer is needed to prepare the 
 ANGELS team season instructions. Matt 
 Cummings sent me this note:

 "Between work requirements and the 
 schooling I need to complete between 
 now and taking the CPA exam, I cannot 
 fulfill even minimum requirements to 
 sustain the ANGELS.
  
 This is only temporary, only a couple 
 of years. If you can reserve the 
 Angels for me until then, I would 
 greatly appreciate it. I will be 
 back."

 Please let me know if you can 
 volunteer to handle the ANGELS for 
 trading and the draft. You will 
 receive a credit LSP for doing this. 
 If you also have time to prepare the 
 team season instructions and / or to 
 monitor player usage during the 
 season, each of those will be an extra 
 credit LSP.
