DMB 2005 Season Disk: IRBL # 742 11-26-05 6 If you have done so already, place your order for the DMB 2005 Season Disk at the DMB web site. Please confirm to me that you have placed the order. I have added a confirmation section to the IRBL LRD download confirmation web page. ...................................... IRBL RULE CHANGE: There has been some discussion about changing the IRBL rules regarding the GP limit for pitchers in a series. I agree with some of the ideas put forward. As a result, the following rule change will take effect for the IRBL 2006 season. If someone objects, then these changes will be submitted for a league vote; without objection, they will become official. There still needs to be a limit for pitcher appearances in a series to compensate for all pitchers being fully rested coming into a series. Once you are a few games into a series, the DMB fatigue system will take over so I have increased the GP limit per series. For post-season series, since the fatigue information is carried over from series to series, there is no need for a limit. The following will be the new rule: IRBL Rule # 11D: GAMES PITCHED PER SERIES LIMITATIONS: All pitchers are under the following appearance limitations depending on the length of the series: no limit in a 2 or 3 game series 3 GP in a 4 game series 4 GP in a 5 game series 5 GP in a 6 game series no limit in a 7 game (post-season) series EXCEPTION: If all other pitchers that have not reached the above limits have been used in a game except those that the DMB game indicates as "Tired", then a pitcher can exceed the above limitations. ......................................
