 The GIANTS traded ROD BARAJAS, JACK 
   WILSON to the MARINERS for BRENDAN 
   DONNELLY, MIKE HAMPTON, SCOTT 
   STRICKLAND.
 The BLUE JAYS traded WOODY WILLIAMS to 
   the METS for RAUL MONDESI.
 The BLUE JAYS traded ALEX OCHOA to the 
   PADRES for RAMIRO MENDOZA.
 The BLUE JAYS traded MIGUEL BATISTA to 
   the MARINERS for EDDIE GUARDADO, 
   CARL PAVANO.
 The RANGERS traded MIKE LINCOLN to the 
   CUBS for ANDY BENES.
 The INDIANS traded MARTY CORDOVA to 
   the ASTROS for BRENT MAYNE.
 The TIGERS released DAN MURRAY.
 The ANGELS traded MARK SWEENEY to the 
   MARINERS for BOBBY J. JONES.
 The ANGELS released KURT ABBOTT, KEN 
   CAMINITI, CURTIS PRIDE, DEVON WHITE, 
   GUS GANDARILLAS, RUSTY MEACHAM, BART 
   MIADICH, MARK PETKOVSEK, DAN 
   WHEELER.
 The RED SOX traded GREG NORTON, OSCAR 
   SALAZAR to the PIRATES for BARRY 
   LARKIN, MIKE FETTERS.
 The PIRATES released MANNY ALEXANDER, 
   DARRON COX, BERNARD GILKEY, BOB 
   HENLEY, DAVE MARTINEZ, MARK MCGWIRE.
 The DEVIL RAYS traded ALEX S. 
   GONZALEZ, BRANDON PHILLIPS to the 
   RED SOX for TODD WALKER, JOSE MESA.
 The BRAVES released R.A. DICKEY.
 The RED SOX traded BARRY LARKIN to the 
   ANGELS for JOSE OFFERMAN, STEVE 
   TORREALBA.
 The PADRES traded LARRY BIGBIE to the 
   MARINERS for DOUG DAVIS.
 The RED SOX released DANTE BICHETTE, 
   CREIGHTON GUBANICH, BRANDON KOLB, 
   JIM PITTSLEY, PETE SCHOUREK, STEVE 
   SODERSTROM.
 The TWINS released KIMERA BARTEE, 
   JERMAINE CLARK, F.P. SANTANGELO, 
   YOHANNY VALERA, TIM CRABTREE, KEVIN 
   FOSTER, CHRIS PETERS.

 REMINDER: You must reduce your roster 
 to 50 players or less (combined rated 
 and unrated players) by the trading 
 deadline. Your roster may never exceed 
 60 total players during the trading 
 season. You must release enough 
 players prior to making a trade that 
 would cause your team to exceed the

 limit. If your roster exceeds these 
 limits then enough unrated players 
 will automatically be released, 
 alphabetically, to reduce your roster 
 to the 50 or 60 player limit.

 PLAYER SHORTAGES:

 If any manager is short some GP's or 
 AB's at a position in order to stay 
 within the IRBL player season 
 limitations and you are unable to 
 complete a trade to fill those needs, 
 let me know before the trading 
 deadline and I will work out a trade 
 for you to fill that need.

 TEAMS WITHOUT MANGERS:

 The following teams will be handled 
 be these temporary General Managers 
 during the 2003 season:

 ATHLETICS: Andrea Cristiani
 ASTROS:    Kevin Nascene
 BRAVES:    George C. Widenor
 MARLINS:   Don Swearingen

 NOTES:
 1) At the end of the 2003 season, 
    Kevin Nascene plans to switch from 
    being the full-time TWINS manager 
    to the full-time ASTROS manager
 2) The MARLINS have been reserved by a 
    prospective new manager

 An updated IRBL Manager Address List 
 has been included.

 The next newsletter (LRD) after the 
 trading deadline will contain 
 guidelines and forms to fill out for 
 your team season instructions.
