 IRBL Menu Program v8.00.08

 When you installed this LRD, the IRBL 
 Menu Program should have been updated. 
 A made a change to correct a minor 
 "bug" they would only occur in a rare 
 circumstance.

 Please exit and then restart the IRBL 
 Menu Program. Then select menu option 
 <5> and verify that you see the 
 following:

 Program version: 8.00.08
   Last update: 3-11-02

 TEAM SEASON INSTRUCTIONS SETS:

 Along with this newsletter, you will 
 find a set of the following 
 instruction files for each team:

 1) INSTRUCT.Txx
 2) PITCHING.Txx
 3) INACTIVE.Txx

 NOTE: The xx is the two digit IRBL 
 team number.
 ......................................
 Prior to each series, print (or view 
 in a separate window) the road team's 
 PITCHING, INACTIVE and INSTRUCT files 
 to be sure you are using the latest 
 instructions. The latest team computer 
 manager profiles will always be pre-
 loaded into the IRBL DMB player files 
 whenever you install the latest LRD.

 MISSING TEAM INSTRUCTIONS:

 ASTROS, ATHLETICS, ORIOLES, MARINERS

 When I receive all four of these team 
 instructions sets, I will post a 
 special LRD that will install them 
 into the IRBL DMB player files.

 If receiving any of the above team 
 instructions late causes you to submit 
 a played series late, let me know and 
 I will void the late series penalty 
 (LSP).

 I made an effort to carefully review 
 each team instruction set with the 
 following goals in mind:

 1) To make sure that the instructions 
 comply with IRBL Rules
 2) To make sure that the instructions 
 are as easy to read as possible (i.e., 
 upper and lower case instead of all 
 capital letters, separate line items 
 for each special instruction and 
 separate sections for road and home 
 instructions)

 REMINDER ABOUT INSTALLING AN IRBL LRD:

 Whenever you install an IRBL LRD 
 during the season, it will replace the 
 IRBL DMB player files with the latest 
 files from the Official League Office 
 files. Please be sure that you have 
 completed preparing and have emailed 
 to the League Office all played series 
 (the series ZIP file) (and if you made 
 any changes to your team's computer 
 manager profile, be sure you have 
 exported and sent the League Office an 
 updated instructions ZIP file) prior 
 to installing the LRD because it will 
 erase everything in the IRBL DMB 
 player files.

 REMINDER ABOUT NEW LSP RULES:

 Please remember that the Late Series 
 Penalty (LSP) rules have been changed 
 so that each series is due one week (7 
 days) after the series date (not two 
 weeks) and an additional LSP is issued 
 for every additional week it is late. 

 Here are the deadlines for the first 
 four series:

 In addition, each manager starts out 
 with four (4) credits (instead of two) 
 to allow for a few "accidents" but 
 still encourage everyone to keep on 
 schedule.

 The "Late Series" penalties and 
 credits chart and series receipt 
 confirmations chart is available to be 
 viewed at the IRBL web site. You 
 should also use that web page to 
 confirm that your submitted series was

 received (every series receipt date is 
 noted in the chart at the bottom of 
 that web page). Please use this chart 
 instead of asking me to confirm via 
 email that I received your series.
